Default Turn signals and hazards not working...

1998 Jeep Cherokee Classic 6 cylinder 4.0L, the turn signals just stopped working while I was driving it. The hazard warning lights don't work either.

I checked the fuses, no go there.

I've tried replacing the flasher unit with a brand new one. Still not working.

I tried replacing the multi function switch, and the switch itself doesn't seem to make a difference either. (I returned the new switch, but I still have both flasher units)...

Any ideas?

Did I buy a faulty flasher?

Is there something I can do to check the rest of the circuit easily?

Does anyone have a wiring layout diagram that tells me where I can test this stuff?

If you can find a wiring diagram, start checking the circuit at the hazard light switch and go from there.
