I just acquired a 1993 cherokee with the high output engine, the frame is finished as is the clutch. i want to take the leafs and pretty much the whole suspension and put it on my 1997 as well as use whatever i can use for parts, should this be much of a problem? i got it from a mechanic cause somebody left it at his shop and no longer wanted to throw money at it. everything is good besides the clutch and frame.

Would need to know what engine you have in your 97 Cherokee. Some parts will swap over, others will with a little modification. Is the 93 HO carburated or fuel injection?

the jeep is fuel injected. spent the day with that lovely red devil today, trying my best to get those damn leafs off, to no avail, rust seems to be king in these parts. decided to go in through the floor near the end of the day to try and get at it from the top, thats where i left off when the rain hit. this is quite the task.

the carberated jeep engine is different from fuel injected. still both should be 4.0l so I believe it should work.If your motor runs fine I wouldn't bother changing.4.0l h.o and 4.0l not that different.
