Have a friend visiting from the states, he is having starter troubles. If there is anyone in the winnipeg or manitoba area who has one for sale for a reasonable price, or maybe you know a place I could call or check out, any help or leads would be greatly appreciated. thanks all

 

the 4.2 had a few different starters. Most of them came with the Ford bodied starter. Not a big fan of PartSource... but they usually have what you are looking for. It's a spinoff of Canadian Tire, but with a harder focus on car parts. Look in your Yellow Pages for a rebuilder in your area, you may have some luck there.
