Yeah thats what I thought too, luckly I got them dirt cheap off kijiji. Now I know why, cause the one tire had a hole beside the lug, but I would have been there all day looking since I didn't know, and since I didn't see it till I mounted the rims and put air in them. Looks like he picked something up on a trail and the way it went in, it went between the tread and went towards the sidewall and either broke a belt of seperated one of the sidewall layers, because I pluged the hole but at 30psi it starts to ballon on the sidewall right under the side lugs but there is no sign of damage from the outside of the sidewall
