What have I got?
Hi People, I am new to the forum and would like to ask the following.
I just got my second Jeep, it is a 1990 Wrangler Laredo HT.
Not being an authority on Jeep (by any streach of the amagination) , I am confused.
This Jeep is Mint, (I will post pics as soon as I learn how) it has never seen any kind of repaint or touch up, even the framework and suspension are completely rust free and clean.
Ok! here it is, the Jeep name tag (original) says made by Chrysler Canada. But, there is a lot of original Japanese or Korean writting on the jeep under the hood and in the cab??
Even the battery also original has nothing but Japanese writting. Now, this does'nt compute to me, the speedo is in MPH on the outside and KL/PH on the inside.
Is this not strange??
Any body shine some light on this please?

Ok people, Found out about the Japanese stuff.
The Jeep was purchased new in 1989, the owner was transfered to Japan and brought the jeep with him in 1991.
Stickers and info had to be applied to the jeep over there in order to use it.
He then brought it back to canada and it was sitting in a quonset ever since.
Now, the only problem I don't understand is that being manufactured in Canada, shouldn't the odometer and outside speedo be in KL/PH??
