Quaker State Filters

Quaker State Filters
I'm just wondering what you think about the Quaker State oil filter. Was shopping for a filter or two and found them getting close to $20 now - no more FRAM at Safeway for $3.50. The Quaker State is still less than $10 and has all the quality control claims on the box. Funny thing about these filters is that they are all the same diameter, just longer or shorter, depending on the vehicle. This brings up more questions also.

Re: Quaker State Filters
No! Avoid those horrible pieces of ----. The filter you put on your engine is far, far more important than the oil that's in it. FRAM, STP, Quaker State, MotoMaster, and all of the bargain brand units are NOT in your vehicle's best interest. You know how Holmes on Homes goes back to all these houses that are "built to minimum code requirements"? These filters are built to minimum spec.
