hey whats up guys i got a 97 jeep tj sport 2.5l here. sometimes when your driving the engine starts to almost cut out like bog down. i checked plugs, wires, and the distributor but i think the problem is fuel system related. i dont think its the fuel pump cause it still runs really well and its only doing it a couple times a week i was wondering if it could be the fuel filter maybe i just dont wanna spend the $150 on it without asking around and seeing if anyones got any ideas or had a similar problem. thanks guys

 

Check all the connectors to the distributor and the cam position sensor....... I had a problem where when I would hit a bump...( yep a bump on a NS road ) it would hiccup but never stop. Start it up and start pulling on the connectors, see if this makes it bog out.
Also check the fuel pressure.
