Re: Alberta offroad trails
check out the T.O.R.E park and/or the Alberta Safari Park. Like mentioned about the NA4WD.org page is good also to find out local runs and other information. I havent been to the Safari park yet but was out to the TORE park a couple weeks ago... its pretty nice. Lots of trails and such.

Re: Alberta offroad trails
Hello everyone,
Well I am a new jeep owner and now a first time poster here in the forums.
I live in Calgary and I am looking for a place to take my young daughter wheelin, nothing extreme or overly technical as we are just starting out here (baby steps) but I would like to be able to explore what this is all about.
I found TORE and the Safari park in a related post and man is there any place like them in Southern AB?
Any tips on where to go with the family would be great.
Thanks all, look forward to reading and learning more about the groups here and getting to know a few folks.
JJ.

Go check out Waiparous/Ghost River OHV area, there are maps at the staging areas with signs for either dirtbikes only, atvs, or jeeps! haha really nice area, head towards cochrane and just keep going thru on 1a or whatever that is.... then i dont remember, think there is a sign for waiparous its a right turn. Some amazing camping spots tho and river crossings and endless trails all within a 45 minute drive from Calgary.

Does anyone know about any Jeep Clubs in Alberta - we are in the Edmonton region but of course traveling is a must when you have a Jeep. We actually have two Rubicon's (2012 & 2013) and really want to break them in.
