I usually go to Canadian Tire for all my automotive needs, but for some reason they do not stock air filters for any year of the Liberty. Was going to head to the local Jeep dealer until I remembered the NAPA Auto Parts store just down the street from there... $22.83 later I had a new filter. Part #NGF 2329, if anyone is interested.

The stock filter was FILTHY, it's been awhile since it was looked at. My bad. :o

 

Thanks for the tip on where to buy, I thot ctc was rather high for the tj but its sort of a rip off anywhere u go when they took an original air filter (cardboard/paper) and added a thin sheet of sponge to it and doubled the price.
