That is a Heavy *** machine to get out of control, between the weight it had being built like a tank from the factory and the added weight of the cage, I would hate to see the damage that would have happened if there was a second vehicle beside it when that happened!

 

Yikes, you could hear it get loose when he drifted towards the centre line and got out of the groove. Good thing it was an 1/8th mile track and it didn't happen on the big end of a 1/4 mile track.
A guy I know had a similar experience at the World Street Finals @ Orlando in '06.
Eddie walked away but wrote-off his twin turbo GTO in the process.
