On the left when something is posted I believe that if everyone had there LOCATION marked in it, it would make it alot easier to reply to there posts, meaning for example if the person is asking from the usa or even BC I might be able to give him a much better reply if I am in that area too. OR if the person is in PQ he might be a neighbour or not far off and I can direct him to see so and so who has one and can clue him in better by fone or by site of the item.
