maybe someone here can help me i have a 88 yj 5 speed 4.2,,,in the winter the tranny freezes and i cant get it to change gears until it gets warmer out or put the jeep in the garage where it warms up any one knows what it might be

That 5 speed uses automatic trany oil. sounds like someone used gear oil.
