Default 88 yj build

so i bought a plain jane, nearly stock 88 yj about 3 years ago. the price was right and the frame and body were pretty damn good. it got parked for a bit, then last spring (2012) i decided to get back to it. a set of heavier shackles, add-a-leaf's front and rear (for now) 258 with a 4.0 top end, inc the efi system. 4cyl axles, set of 35's...... ax15 swap (lots of fun there). so ya, took 3 months worth of days off and it's done! or so i thought.......

got the spare frame chopped and stretched to 101" wheelbase. next, i'm going to relocate the body mounts. the rear ones ahead 5 inch, and the fronts, back 3 inch. this moves the axle 1.25 inches ahead of its stock location (cause they seem to move to the rear when you lift them). the best part so far, i have no steering alignment or clearence issuse. don't have to extend anything in the front except the steering colum shaft. the back half is good so far. needing only extend the fuel and breaklines, and the driveshaft. maybe a good time for an SYE kit?

I dont understand ....

do you mean the front axle backwards 1.25"

hope you backed out the rear axle , for better driveshaft length
