Im currently new to the Jeep scene and am a bit boggled over what to do. What is the better motor to 'stroke'. The 4.0 H.O and or the 4.2 H.0. I am wanting to build the motor and jeep myself and am trying to find leads on the how to??? somewhere here. Where can i find a do it yourself on how to stroke a motor from start with just the block. Any leads is greatly appreciated..

checkout pirate 4x4 there is always good info on there for research just have to cut throught the bs .

If you are going spend the money go with a v8 swap. Can't go wrong with that. If you can change a motor you can do the swap.
