If you're primary use is on road, then those would be fine with a set of 285/70/17 AT tire. They'll fit without a lift or a budget boost at best. Not being too wide you will not sacrifice as much on consumption and being an AT instead of a MT will also help. Going 17" will give you more tire selection and will have a slightly softer ride rather than staying with an 18" rim but its your call.

X2 on the 17" rims, more sizes and cheaper rims and tires. As for what tire and rims.....that is a matter of taste. Look at some of the different picture threads on different sites and find a combo u like. It is a big decision and alot of cash, take your time and get what u like.

I agree if you are buying rims switch to 17s the selection/price/mileage are all better with 17s than 18s.

And getting the look is all about the correct offset/backspace. Good luck there. No tire shop will help. Get out to some Jeep events/clubs and see what you like. Give compliments and ask questions.

A lot of $$$$$$ are involved but if you don't get involved you will likely get burned.
