The best mod that I have done has got to be installing the Currie HD steering upgrade.

First thing I did , is replace that D35 , then a small lift , rear locker , a good winch and then some RESPONCEABLE trail riding. Join OF4WD to.

I've never had a problem with my D35, I put a HD diff cover on it when I bought the jeep which may help with the housing flex but other than that mod to the diff that was it. Even the TracLock works great.

I'm running a 4" lift and 33 10.50 15 tires. The Currie kit will tell you to use the "stock" pitman arm on any lift 4.5" and under. So keep your pitman arm when you install the lift. The Currie system is designed for lifts 6.5" and under, its an awesome upgrade btw.
