Question Tires

Is it possible to get a 33" tire that is only 7" to 8" wide. Even a 31" would do. But the stock tires on my TJ just look stupid with a 4" lift! And the 33x12.5 15"s I have currently don't offer as much traction because they don't dig through snow plus it is very sketchy on the highway when you hit snow with just one front tire!

To each his own, it all depends of the tire and a persons driving weather or not a 12.5 or higher works well in snow or not..I have no complaints..BFG A/T KO come in a size of 33x9.5R15 which might look a little weird but if you want to go that narrow I would take the 10.5 They probably have 31's too. Here's a site that will show you tires. sizes and a photo which might help you some

Thanks I know they will look weird, but not as weird as a 28" tire on a lifted jeep! I want narrow because it offers a smaller contact patch with better grip on ice. Have you ever watched WRC? Or wait your from Quebec you have seen the tires they use for ice racing. The roads here in Fort Mac are very icy during the winter and a narrow tire is better.

It all depends on what style you like the look of but wider tire on ice is better while a skinnier tire on snow is better.

BFG ATs are great in 33x12.5R15 compared to the BFG MT KM2s. I love the MTs but its a different driver style and since I've never driven anything in the winter but either a Jeep on mud tires or a 2wd ford ranger with bald tires I've gotten use to the driving style required.
