I bought a 2002 tj sport over the winter with both soft and hard top. I reciently tried to install the soft top and found to be with out the retainer bar for the rear window. I tried to buy one at the local dealer and they want to sell me a whole new top. Is there one out there for me any where.

 

Funny I am short that exact piece for 03 tj, BUT I found one from a yj that will fit, only have to go pick it up. So if you cannot find one for the tj look for the yj same sh... Suggest u try a local offroad club in ur area, poss find someone there can help. Good luck

 

I found one @ gemini sales in vancouver. They shipped it out the next day and only cost $65. Better then th $300 from chrysler!

Hay man your not the only one with that problem, I have done the same, replied to someones post that I see no one answered then find out its a couple of years old. But one thing for sure your heart is in the right place :)
