Default Rear defrost not working

Recently purchased my 2001 Jeep TJ so im still a newbie when it comes to these vehicles. My rear defrost does not work, neither does the rear wiper. Now when I press the defrost switch it illuminates, but does not actually defrost the window. Any ideas?
And this may be a stupid question, but where does the wiring go from the hard top to the actual Jeep?

The dome light works so there is definitely power in the hardtop.

Driver's side rear corner has 2 joins.
One is a tube for your wiper fluid, and the other is an electrical connector.

Make sure they are both connected and hooked up.

One electrical connector and fluid tube connector is in the hard top,
the other should be in the far corner above the stoplight.

It seems you have been having a lot of questions with your jeep,
I suggest hooking up with a local club/coffee meet,
this way more experienced jeep owners can help you out
and give you suggestions...
