Question Radio/Heater Dash Panel Removal

Hello boys and girls...

New first-time Jeep owner here in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Just picked up a 2006 TJ Sport Hardtop, 4.0 litre with 49,000k.

How do I remove the center dash panel around the radio & heater controls?

Hi Gerald , welcome to the site. I'm not 100% sure how to get that panel off but if it's like the rest of the stuff it's plastic with clips on the back side. If you get it off without breaking it consider yourself lucky and don't try it if it's cold !!

While browsing the TJ section found a thread/link by RiponredTJ to a website that had service manuals online - so I found my answer!

Great forum here! I also found out why my interior lights weren't working when the doors were opened, the #4 fuse was gone. Definitely saved a lot of troubleshooting for sure...
