Sid, you have driveline issues with a 2 1/2" susp lift? Damn I've got 4" with no issues at all. A SYE is a great upgrade but if you don't have the cash it can wait, I've been wheelin my TJ for 3yrs without a SYE and haven't had any issues.

yes i have driveline issues was told when i bought that i would be fine but i have issues replacing rear u joints about every 10000 km I have 4.0 3 spd auto my rear shaft is only 17" long am also running a dropped t case and 1" motor mount lift dont really have issues on road but when the rear flexes i can feel the u-joints binding from drivers seat

if you want 35s sit down and make a list.tires, regear your diffs , bumpers, winch, how much do you have left for a lift I have a superwinch lp8500 from canadian tire $399 have used it a lot good winch for the money i would get a sye and rear driveshaft so you can do a tummy tuck the extra inches under the middle will make a big difference off road, i built my own bumpers as the aftermarket ones can be pricey.Get prices on all the stuff you want then get the best kit you can afford

I think I might go with Superlifts 6" Rock Runner Suspension with Shocks for 03-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ. Then stay away from a a body and just get the SYE kit and cv driveshaft, what do you mean by tummy tuck?

tummy tuck look under your jeep at the trans mount it hangs down about 4"s you move this up to give more clearance that mount acts like a shovel in mud digs in and packs mud around trans &transfer case.kits are available but too expensive in my opinion do a google search on it making your own isnt that hard and way cheaper if your jeep is a 4.0 you can pick up used tj 4cyl axles with lower gears cheaper and easier than re gearing your diffs.keep in mind that the d35 rear axle is not usually recomendedfor tires larger than 31s,it will have a slow death on the street and mud with 35s but wont last long in rocks i think you will be happy with the rock runner kit

Wll Im currently geared with 4.10's. What should I regear too instead? Running 35's hopefully. I hear these tummy tucks are expensive cause the skid went up by the like 500$ or something.

one more suggestion do a google search on New Brunswick jeep clubs try to meet some people there so you can look at what others are using for lifts in your area ask about tires too a tire that works in Ont mud might not be worth jack in N.B. a picture is worth a thousand words so looking at the real thing is always better,do lots of research before spending your money lots of drive shaft info here would still recomend the super short slip yoke eliminator thoughhttp://driveshaftsuperstore.com/index.html
