Canada jeep questions

i've been trying to open the center console in my jeep but the key wont go all the way in.. is there another way to open it?
Another things i've noticed my passenger seat doesn't full lift up to let ppl into the back.. it bends down but, i can't lift it forward. Is the seat suppose to do this? if not, how do i fix it..
thanxs

if you put the key in and wiggle, the lock will sort of pop up a bit. then you need to kind of push it in gentlyish and wiggle the whole lid eventually it will come up

On my TJ there's two levers for the passenger seat. Once the back is pulled forward you can leverage the whole seat up to the dash to let people in.

as for the seat....grease the rails and push it back and forth a few times, should do the trick!
