Hey guys! I am new to Jeeps in general but not new to trucks.. I drive a GMC canyon and I sometimes go offroad in it

I have limited technical knowledge and want to gain more.

I am looking to buy a Jeep in the next week. Right now I am looking at this one:

I want to know, what should I look for when I go to inspect it? What are problem areas? I've never bought a used vehicle before in my life so I am a complete newb, but this deal seems great and I am really tempted! Give me your advice guys!

Is there any threads with common issues or problems?

A 93 should be yj. Yj's have square headlights and leaf springs. tj's have round headlights and coil springs.Other than the obvious things check for cracks in the frame around the steering box and rusted out corners of the tub.

I have a 1999 TJ I might sell. Purchased new in 1999. If interested let me know. My Jeep has only 4000 miles. Like buying a new one.

Maybe you should consider waiting until you can afford something better. Unfortunately I didn't realize you were short of money. Go buy your $1500 "Dream Jeep" that sir is a joke.

Anyway Mister OP, YJs ran from 1987 - 1995. Are you asking for advice on an actual TJ or just what's in that link?

One picture, only $800, as is... I'd say unless you have cash to blow and an empty garage it's probably junk.
