Help ? tires and lifts
Hi there, can anyone tell me if 33 12.5 15's will work well on my 2003 tj sport with a 2 or even a 2.5 inch suspension lift ? or do I need more than that ? maybe a 1" body lift as well ? Help ? any advice at all would be fantastic ! thanx

Yes AND No!
Lots of problems, lots of fixes. Where to begin.
Longer brake lines, no TC drop / TC drop, SYE, Re-Gearing, Longer sway bar links, TC shifter adapter, longer shocks, longer bump stops, spring perch relocation, outboard shock mounts, longer/adjustable CA, Heavier duty brake pads, wheel spacers, bar pin eliminators, heavier duty axles to haul the weight, lockers, re-speedo, . Just food for thought in a lift. Body lift longer fuel filler hose, fan shroud moves, TC adapter plate, shifter binding.
Lots to think about !!!
Good Luck

What do you plan to do with yourjeep? Daily driver?Do you want the lift for looks?Offroad performance? What condition is your stock suspension in?Are the springs getting weak?Adding bumpers and a winch? The added weight of these will make a stock spring sag.Another option is high clearance front fenders and trimming the rear wheel opening and raising the flare. This is a place in B.C. run a 35" tire on stock suspention.http://www.aqualu.com/5210%20templat...ter%20copy.jpg If your tj is starting to get rust on the top of the front fenders this might be a good choice,5/32 " marine grade aluminum close to same cost as replacing with steel ones. You will have to think about many things before spending your money.$690.00 Canadian dollars for a pair, about half way between a budget boost and basic spring lift,if you dont lift the suspension all your driveshaft and steering angles will be the same as stock, your brakes will require more frequent maintanence.Good luck
