Trying to get the TJ in Hunting mode. Installed a gun rack from Big Sky Racks. had to drill two holes,

 

Not sure I'd like my rifle falling on my head while doing some rough roading - what happened to the soft top cannot have both? Did u measure the distance from the rear roll bars across the back at the rear seat height (I have my high lift mounted there) might work for u for you rifle wud be safer.

 

Looks like there is a strap there to hold a gun in place....... only problem I see is no way to lock the gun in..... and not sure if the RCMP will like this.

 

Just got back from a 4 day Moose hunt, Rack works well, TJ works very well.

 

might have to invest in one of these!
