Has anyone had to deal with a broken zipper on your soft top?

I think I wore out the zipper (plastic teeth on the 99), and snapped off the metal zipper itself.

This is for the rear window.

Anyone know where to get a new zipper or do I need to purchase a new soft top?

 

Have you talked to a tailor? or sail shop can fix such things real well. Just a few ideas as to a new top My 97 is still as good as new maybe try some sort of treatment I found the best so far is tire shine from shell and I know it sounds odd but it works exceptionally well and even cleared up my plastic. Just my opinion no offence meant.

 

Didn't think about a sail shop.

I was asking around at places that sell Tent Trailers for someone who would have a machine capable of stitching a new zipper in.

I'll look around and see what I can find.
