Maybe your throttle return spring is worn or broken.
Have you tried to see if you can pull any codes?

throttle spring is fine. it's seems that as the temp goes up so does the idle. if i shut it off for a few minutes the idle is reduced, then i drive it again and the idle raises to about 15 or 1600rpm's. i put it on a actron scanner and there are no codes to read.

Sticky throttle cable?
Dirty throttle body?
With a Manifold Pressure sensor (MAP) the PCM can interpret a vacuum leak as throttle input and won't necessarily kick out a code. You may want to re-check for a vacuum leak.

I should check my intake manifold bolts as well. Maybe that would fix my whistling engine.
