Re: Your Selection
Well now hold your horses here fellas.
You don't have to be a redneck to own a Mustang, but it helps.
And you sure as hell don't have to wear a mullet to be one, mullets are a
stupid left over from the 80's much like the pants tied around just under
the butt cheeks are a hold over from the 90's and bell bottoms and afros are
from the 70's. Every generation has it's own stupid fashion trend that never
quite died out.
I have never known a real redneck that wore a mullet... hell, the good ol'
boys i grew up with would have wrestled the guy down and given him a
haircut.

Re: Your Selection
Now, the Redneckmobile, as we all know, is the Cambird firechicken. I know
this for a fact since I am a reformed hillbilly and former Z-28 owner. I
just got back from my sisters funeral in the Ozark mountains of MO and when
driving by any used car lot there was ALWAYS at least 3-5 Camaro's of the
mid 80's vintage slowly aging away. I think I saw maybe 3 Mustangs the whole
time, but probably 30 Firechicken's. The Mustang's were always in
near-perfect condition and the Camaro's always had something missing with a
bit of primer somewhere.
The cool thing with the mustangs I saw was that the first was a '69 Grande,
the second was a '66 Fastback, and the last was ~'97 Cobra. We were
represented well. heh.
At least the cambirds didn't have fake stuff on'em. No rice in
hillbillyland. No MoPars either, hmm. You'd think you'd see a few Charger's
out there at least representin' the Dukes of Hazzard crowd. lol.

Whoa there fella! There's a world of difference between hillbillys and
rednecks... Let's not get things confused here. We don't want to be
starting any civil wars!
