yep, you got synchros on both sides of each gear.
one for upshifting, one for downshifting.

Back to my transmission... I assume that I have the AX5 in my 2.5 95
YJ, are these worth rebuilding or should I consider replacing? If so,
with what - something beefier? I've been doing some homework here

Back to my transmission... I assume that I have the AX5 in my 2.5 95
YJ, are these worth rebuilding or should I consider replacing? If so,
with what - something beefier? I've been doing some homework here

It sounded like you were describing a broken overdrive gear. I
believe rebuilding it is your only option, as the input and output
shafts are different than the AX-15:

It sounded like you were describing a broken overdrive gear. I
believe rebuilding it is your only option, as the input and output
shafts are different than the AX-15:
