Re: YJ parts onto CJ7?
I'm in Wpg, MB. Can't make this one cuz the Jeep still isn't ready to really
drive/offroad. However, next summer I'd love to come out and slosh around
with you guys. I just need to save six paychecks for the gas for the highway
;p
Ya ...I could probably get some coin for the rims ...gonna go look at it now
and probably tow it home.

Re: YJ parts onto CJ7?
One thing I've always wanted to do is change out my CJ7 heater floor vent
with a YJs. From what I understand it's a direct fit and offers much better
air flow direction. Directed at the feet rather than out in space
somewhere.

Re: YJ parts onto CJ7?
They changed things in 91. Pre 91 YJ's with the 258 have the same
heater as the 80's CJ's.
There is a deflector on some of the floor vents, but my CJ one hits the
feet great.

You might take a look something like this (last product on the page)...
http://www.spidertrax.com/drivetrain_whs.htm
These convert a 5 on 4.5 (YJ bolt pattern) axle to accept 5 on 5.5 (CJ bolt
pattern) wheels. I'm sure there's one that works the other way around. But
for that kind of $$ (2 X $125) you can just buy new rims. But these are
1.25" spacers as well (if you wanted to get wider at the same time).
