I replaced my front speakers 4 years ago as a skinny 15-year old with
a socket set. All it took was the temporary removal of the parking brake assembly (2 bolts that go through the firewall) and a fair amount of patience - just trying to get the speaker to sit right on those bolts was the hardest part. Passenger's side was much quicker. |

I replaced mine a few years ago as a not so skinny 40+ year old. I replaced
the original nuts with wingnuts.
