YJ/CJ soft top interchangability
Question for the Jeep experts:
I finally got Wrangler (YJ) half doors (hard steel) for my CJ-7.
It appears that the Supertops for the CJ-7 (model #51599) and for the YJ
(model #51600) are the same thing except for the soft upper half doors for
the YJ. Since I have YJ doors, can I get the model #51600 and have it work
with my configuration?
I asked the BestTop people but they haven't responded yet.

Re: YJ/CJ soft top interchangability
You have to match the top corners up, so I would go with the uppers that
fit the lowers and match the top to that.
If both fit.....
My CJ7 uses snaps to hold the stock top down and is far, far faster to
put up than a YJ one, so given a choice I would go with the CJ one in a
second.
If you have to modify the CJ's body to fit the 'CJ' top, then no real
matter.
