XJ Idle problem after long drive
I've got a 00 XJ with a 4.0 Yesterday after a 2 hour highway drive I
turned off the Jeep for about 20-30 minutes. When I turned it back on
it was indling very rough. It stayed that way for about 2-3 minutes.
This was followed by a ticking sound. After starting it the next time
the Check Engine light came on. I started it this morning and it felt
like it was back to normal. (no power loss or rough idle) I haven't had
a chance to get the error codes read yet.
Does anybody have any ideas? Is there something I should lookout for?
