Re: XJ help
Low pressure switch should take care of that problem - no freon, no
compressor.

I had to replace the pulley on my ps pump about the same time as the
damper pulley went - not related. That will be a serpentine belt on a
98 same as mine, btw, so the seperation as described won't apply.
Mine failed at a weld across the width of the grooved flat that left a
sharp ridge that ran the width of the belt. Sharp edges and belts
don't seem to be a good match to me so I repaced it. I don't recall
the cost of the pulley so it couldn't have been too much. The
vibration dampner was about $75 and the pulley was a PITA to get off -
that much I do remember.

fit I've ever found.
