Xj Crank Windows Ruinung Speakers
I have a 88' Jeep cherokee and the crank windows in the front drivers
and passangers side doors continue to ruin my speakers. Orginally when
I bought the the cherokee it had sony 5 1/4" speakers in it, but one
was trashed and about a month later the other one broke too. I pulled
them and relized that when I roll down I windows the cable feeds
directly into the speaker and just rips them apart. Long story short I
just ruined a 200 dollar pair of inifinty 605cs components and now I'm
pissed. I know Orginally there was a cable guide system but mine has
broke and I couldn't find anything at the junk yard. Any suggestions
as what to do? How hard is it to convert to a power window system?
Thanks,
Ben H.

Just the end of a piece of cable? If so use some copper tube to route
it and a couple of tabs soldered to the tube to mount it to the door.
