Re: WJ Speed Limiter
if you can get the arabs export flash for the pcm the cutout is omitted but keep
in mind us dealer techs like to keep a eye on this stuff with our drbscantools because customer pay enginejobs pay more than warranty hehehe Grumman-581 wrote: > "Lon Stowell" wrote ... > > Wow, 115 mph in a Grand Cherokee even with good aftermarket > > shocks and tires and even lowered an inch or so has got to be > > in the same category as playing marbles with sidewinders. > > I ain't no speed Nazi, but there is a tiny difference between > > the GC and a Corvette safety wise. > > It was 115 with everything stock... Are you saying that there is some sort of flash ROM / EPROM / EEPROM / flash memory that is for the Saudi Arabia type markets and plugs into the computer that does not have the speed limiting 'feature' enabled? Where would one go about finding this device? What should be the physical top end on this engine? |

The tire speed rating is the last letter in the tire's size, no
letter is less than 87 Mile per hour: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tirete...eral/speed.htm God Bless America, ßill O|||||||O mailto:-------------------- http://www.----------.com/ Grumman581 wrote: > > Not sure... Re: WJ Speed Limiter
yep there is a reflash for the pcm and a tech at a dealer might do it under the
table Grumman-581 wrote: > "mic canic" wrote ... > > if you can get the arabs export flash for the pcm the cutout is omitted > but keep > > in mind us dealer techs like to keep a eye on this stuff with our > drbscantools > > because customer pay enginejobs pay more than warranty hehehe > > Well, it is getting close to the point where it is no longer under warranty, > so that aspect of it is not that big of a deal anymore... > > Are you saying that there is some sort of flash ROM / EPROM / EEPROM / flash > memory that is for the Saudi Arabia type markets and plugs into the computer > that does not have the speed limiting 'feature' enabled? Re: WJ Speed Limiter
Yeah yeah yeah, I had a '66 Impala 427 bored out to 466 with
LS6 cams and 3.07 rear end. It would easily top 180 as long as I never actually had to PROVE IT WITH A TIMING SLIP. Or try it in 3rd gear [which isn't quite the same in a stick as in a 3speed auto]. mic canic wrote: > dude where did you comne from?????? > hell my 73 charger with a 400 did 160 without blinking a eye and it was a auto > with 355 rear gear > > Lon Stowell wrote: > >> Grumman-581 wrote: >> >> > "mic canic" wrote ... >> >> your rice and beer burners are no match for some good american iron 195 >> > zr1 >> >> vette >> >> and my cuda doesn't get shifted into forth intill 150 >> > >> > Perhaps, but my Porsche didn't have astroturf for carpetting...
