Yup, It used to be: news://News.CIS.DFN.DE I was very happy with
it. Members had to use their real names and addresses. I'd gladly pay
the ten Euro to keep my account with them, now at:

That's one of the few places where PayPal is useful - but ISTR that
they also took Visa/MC in payment. It was a pleasant surprise to find
that Qwest ran a decent nntp server when I got their DSL deal.
Was the "fingered" part literal or just a typo? It fits pretty well
as typed <g>.
