Why more brake dust/grime on right front wheel
I seem to get noticeably more dust/grime from the front disk brake on my
right wheel than the left ('05 TJ SE). Any cause for concern? If yes, is
there a particular thing I should ask the dealer to check?
Cheers,
Neil

Re: Why more brake dust/grime on right front wheel
That implies the calipers are not sliding evenly. The salt here can do
them in fast if they don't have a good coating of antiseize on them. It
is really common to see just the inside pad worn out up here in the salt
belt.

Re: Why more brake dust/grime on right front wheel
I'd surely point it out to them. I don't worry about my brake dust
unless it turns from black to a little brownish showing it making the
fake brass rivet contact. I wish we could use unvented wheels again, but
that's the only real advantage disks have over drums is heat
dissipation.
