where's the THRILL in driving?

Speaking of pigs, have you eaten a German bratwurst, lately?
Fortunately thirty years ago when I was in Europe Mickey D's was firmly
in place. Their Wienerschnitzel wasn't too bad though, kind of like what
the Southerners called chicken fried steak. And I saw lots of fat
Germans, having to use suspenders to hold up their pants, and that's
impression I thought we all have, or the little fat wine maker. No?

I can just remember the little Dutch Grannij (!), rubber bands wound tight
in the DAF66 clipping the front of my friend's Lotus Europa, careening
across the pavement towards the supermarket door, and then the brake lights
going on!
