Oh, I know what his point was but I would think torque loads like you find
on a strip are less of a problem on the OP's YJ than the extra lateral
stesses of the larger tires in most off-road situations. Dragstrip
requirements are just not relevent in that case.

Well, in your TJ, that's probably true, but in a Real Jeep I've put a heck
of a lot more stress on it than ever on a drag strip. Once in an attempt for
four gear at about eighty miles an hour, on a hill climb it got to bouncing
and I'm told the last hop I was a full twenty feet off the ground when I
stuck in the sand with both front and rear axles broke.
