I see a lip at the road, like what is plowed there to keep it from
washing out. I always go straight up, or straight down, unless I'm doing
bowls where the inertia and centrifugal force hold me to the face.

That looks like he came down on the edge of a paved road. That looks
like an ATV shortcut.
