Depending on how hard you are hitting the ground when you are bouncing
up something, grade 8 bolts won't last long in my opinion.
They are too hard and are likely to shear.
Well, I keep shearing grade 5 ones even. We drive on really dug out and
rutty stuff on steep angles with the pedal to the metal and when you get
wheel hop, you can get a serious hit on those bolts. The last set I put
in were just regular bolts and I cleaned the crap out of the holes
before using loctite on them. So far so good, they have held for over a
year but I haven't off roaded seriously in 6 months... :-(
The torque is 30 ft lb in a criss cross pattern on them.

Re: what should i torque the hub bolt to?
The actual fix is to toss the bolts and replace them with studs and nylon
lock nuts. Loc-Tite in the studs, then torque the nuts to 30 ft lbs. There
are some outfits selling this as a kit, but you can do just as well at the
hardware store.
