Re: Weeping gear oil 95 YJ

Jerry, re-read what you just wrote! The diff level is fine and it's
spewing oil all over the place. You need to do one of two things: install
a hose and start selling all that oil you're making or figure where it's
coming from.

A little gear oil goes a long way; small leaks make big stains. It also
expands a lot as it heats up. If the level in the case is still good, you
had to have too much to start with (or else you're making oil <g>). I've
had the over flow leak a bit when I topped off the diff on a really cold
day (one of the reasons for leaving Wisconsin) and then having it spit a
few drops for a while until the level got right but that oil has to be
coming from somewhere - and your somewheres are pretty limited.

Your right a little goes a long way. It looks like more than what it
actually is. Maybe I over exagerrated, but it looked like a lot. Any
way, it has since been repaired.
