If it isn't bitching or making noise, you could have caught it fast
enough or as Bill says driven enough.
I recommend you umm, maybe put a high water vent on the tranny....
I put one on mine and I now can run in 42" of water without filling
anything fast....
Jeep in their ultimate wisdumb didn't put high water vents on their
transmissions. None of them. (Comanche has a vent tube, but not a high
water one)
I pulled the stupid button vent out of mine and used a piece of steel
gas line and tapped it in with some JB weld to seal it for a hose
nipple, then ran the vent up by the t-case one by the battery.
