HOW DO I REPLACE MY WATER PUMP ON MY 2001 WANGLER
ESPECIALLY HOW TO GET THE CLUCH FAN OFF.

Re: water pump 2001 WANGLER

The fans are held on by four bolts that also hold the water pump's
pulley to it's shaft, but yours appears to be dancing to a different
drummer: http://www.----------.com/temp/02TJWaterPump.pdf Engine rotation
makes it a righty, tighty.
Pull the pump before you go the parts store. It's been my experience
that 100% were boxed incorrectly, having the reverse pump (yours) in the "V"
belt box and vice versa. So, match their propellers. Put a little Permatex
Blue Silicone on the bolt threads so the next guy won't find them seized to
the block.

Moves fluid in a closed system. The same terms are used for the oil
pump as well.. If that poor fellow takes your advice and asks the auto
parts clerk to check his propellers, he might not understand why the
clerk suddenly bursts out laughing.

So would a serpentine belt water pump impel the fluid in or out, while
being
propelled in the engine direction? http://----------.com/waterPump.jpg And
I've ordered and installed thousands of pumps, I don't remember a parts man

That would depend on which way the vanes were cut. (The pump should be
pulling water into the engine If you have the right set up)

How many have I changed? I never counted, it would have to be in the
hundreds. (Just remember, I didn't do it for a living)

There you go again, the little jealous, REALLY JEALOUS, over the fact
that I once own a '37 Lasalle, ranting over my documents, possessions,
successes, manliness and super Southern California surfing body. What a
jealous little draft dodging senile coward from Navarre, Florida, that of
course, doesn't have a DD214, it had to have served our country for that.
Who's only way to get attention is to make a fool of its self, with its goat
obsession/fetish, where it writes via remailers, to no one's surprise. Like
when the other kids laughed at its attempt to use foul language in
elementary school play grounds, but its just gibberish. Too senile to
remember what he last wrote, like the rest of Florida. You remind me of a
little rat dog, like a Mexican Chiwawa with its senseless barking, me too,
me too. And is too afraid to use your name, address, or even sign your
statement as any man would, totally worthless!
