water pump 2001 WANGLER
HOW DO I REPLACE MY WATER PUMP ON MY 2001 WANGLER
ESPECIALLY HOW TO GET THE CLUCH FAN OFF. |
Re: water pump 2001 WANGLER
The fans are held on by four bolts that also hold the water pump's
pulley to it's shaft, but yours appears to be dancing to a different drummer: http://www.----------.com/temp/02TJWaterPump.pdf Engine rotation makes it a righty, tighty. Pull the pump before you go the parts store. It's been my experience that 100% were boxed incorrectly, having the reverse pump (yours) in the "V" belt box and vice versa. So, match their propellers. Put a little Permatex Blue Silicone on the bolt threads so the next guy won't find them seized to the block.
