He said:

"You should be able to find the hose attached to the firewall
somewhere near the battery. If you follow the vent tube (hose) from
the front axle up into the engine bay, you will find it has a small
white one-way valve on it at the top. The tcase gets the same kind of
hose and valve."

I asked about the vent hose for the transfer case. he said (above)
"...if you follow the vent tube (hose) from the front axle up into the
engine bay..." which to me sounds like he's saying that the tube for
the TRANSFER CASE is attached to the FRONT AXLE. Is that right? I
just kinda assumed that there would be a vent hose that was attached
to the rear end (there is) and one attached at the front end (there
is) and maybe just maybe one attached to the TRANSFER CASE. AGGG!!!
What am I missing here? Are y'all just messin' with my head? :-)

The standard transfer case vent is located on the firewall near the
battery.
The front differential vent is located on the passenger side near
the radiator.
Both have the same vent cap on the hose.
