How much of a direct swap is it to go from the Peugeot BA 10/5 to the
AX-15 in my '88 Wrangler with the 6 cyl 258? Are there special
adapters, drivelines, input/output shafts to buy?

Referring to Mike Moran's write up, you may be able to dispense with this
part "Advance Adapters Inc. 23 spline input gear for NP231 T/C Part #716053
w/ shipping" if you use the transfer case from the donor vehicle. That
would be a savings of $182, probably more with inflation.
