Re: TJ Rear view mirror broke help
That stuff really works! I was skeptical until I used it to reinstall a
rear view mirror on a Camaro. Just follow the instructions... no deviation!

Re: TJ Rear view mirror broke help
Just to add a few tips here. Like a lot of us here, I have used this
stuff several times, and it does work. Do not install the mirror back on
the freshly glued piece right away. I believe the instructions give a
waiting time before reinstalling the mirror, and it is dependent on the
outside temperature because the glue does need to cure, even though it
seems like it hardens instantly. I recommend putting a piece of tape
across the metal base to help hold it tight against the glass until the
glue is cured. The other thing is, before you glue the piece back on,
make sure the glass is perfectly clean. Most of these kits give you a
little pad similar to a small handiwipe that is soaked with alcohol. Use
it!! I normally clean the glass with alcohol and paper towel, then use
the pad that comes with the kit. Follow the instructions and you won't
have to worry about the mirror for a long time.
