Re: Throttle body
They sell spray TB cleaner, something like the old carb cleaners, but
with different chemicals. If you do it every couple years, it shouldn't
get bad enough to need a total tear down for a long time.
I usually have a look at it when I change air filters. Mine was bad
enough I had the dealer do their fancy complete clean on it just after I
got it, but that was due to a dead CCV valve.
I have let mine go and checked it the other day and it is past time for
mine to have a good spray, it's been over 4 years....
